•    Using our behaviours to help our thoughts & feelings.
•    The positive effect mindfulness can have on us.
•    Three short practical mindfulness exercises.
•    The physiological effects of stress.
•    What we have in our stress containers, and our coping strategies.
•    Using wellbeing “wheels” to boost our sense of wellbeing through actions and thoughts.
•    Other tips and ideas to help with self-care and to boost positive wellbeing.

"Hi Kev, I just wanted to say a massive thank you for the Wellbeing and Mindfulness Zoom Webinar you delivered and facilitated on Friday.

I personally found it all very relevant, especially during the current social situation and could directly apply everything you discussed to my circumstances.

There was just the right balance between the practical and theory materials. The practical gave a break to the theory side and allows for a reset after some, possibly emotive discussion and self reflection.

We should all take more time for ourselves and be mindful of that much needed reset we all inevitably require as there are so many internal and external pressures we face, regardless of what your lifestyle is.

I cannot tell you how relaxed I was during some of the exercises and after the webinar. Just the reset and me time I needed. Thank you again."

"Just to say thanks again for your time on Friday. Having had counselling in the past, it was very useful to have a refresher on some of the things that I should be looking out for and should be doing. You managed to pack a lot in to the 2 hours and I for one was grateful for the extra time you spent with us. The atmosphere you set was spot on and I felt very comfortable opening up within the group."

"Hi Kevin

Thanks very much for today, given me lots of things to look into a little deeper."

"Thanks very much for the session this morning.

I found the mindfulness part really relaxing. It’s not something I’ve tried before so was nice to learn a bit about it.

I also think the techniques you shared with us will be helpful – I tend to come across positive/happy to most people but in my own head I know I can dwell on negatives quite a lot, so I’m looking forward to trying some of your suggestions.

Thanks again."

"Hi Kev,

Thank you so much for this morning!! I thoroughly enjoyed it and learnt a lot. I thought the way you delivered it was brilliant and engaging and I think it would be great to have more volunteers getting on board and taking part. As I said it’s easy to forget self care, and so taking the time out to remind yourself how to do that is really important for us."

"Hi Kevin,

Reflecting on the workshop, I must say there is a lot of very good content. The presentation flow was great and one topic followed another one greatly. Meditations were timely. I specially liked how you introduced the very first one and explained how to breathe and practice it. Until that moment my thoughts were racing at 100 miles an hour. That was the moment when time slowed down and I needed it. The kindness meditation filled me with warmth and positivity."

"Hi Kev,

"Many thanks for this morning’s Webinar, which I found to be enlightening and, I am sure, will be useful in coping with life’s challenges."

"Just to say that I really enjoyed the webinar this morning. I really liked how you explained Wellbeing, made it easy to understand and you covered a lot of subject matter in the time period.  Although I do practice mindfulness and meditate regularly I am always learning new things (seems like we never stop learning)!  I will definitely use the ‘Milk’ technique – great way to interrupt those uninvited negative emotions.

Look forward to your next webinar (as and when) and have a great Bank Holiday Weekend! Many thanks"

"Hi Kevin,

Thank you very much for today’s Mindfulness session.

I found it very useful and interesting, using the ‘mindfulness bike’ I thought was brilliant!! I now I can see visually what areas I need to improve on in both sections e.g. front and back wheel."

"I liked the mindfulness as it was all new to me, and stuff I can put in to practice from a personal perspective. I guess I cover lots of wellbeing in my working role so was interested in the day to day techniques."

"I took part in Wellbeing and Mindfulness webinar and found it to be incredibly useful especially during lockdown in the middle of the Covid-19 pandemic. Kev is extremely knowledgeable about the subject of mental health and I found the mindfulness exercises he taught us to be really helpful and have used them many times since. I would thoroughly recommend WhiteCat Wellbeing and I'm looking forward to doing the Mental Health First Aid course.

Best wishes,"

"I recently participated in the webinar about Wellbeing and Mindfulness. At the time I was going through a bad time and I was struggling to manage a lot of things and ultimately I was suffering because I was putting my needs last. Through this I have learnt useful techniques that I’ve never applied before to help me be ‘in the moment’. I found mapping out my mental well-being on the Wellbeing Wheels especially helpful for me and I have been using this weekly. I have realised that by adjusting small things in my life I can feel so much more content and happy within myself and within the moment.
I really enjoyed the webinar and felt relaxed throughout. I felt comfortable and came away with new tips and techniques. I would definitely recommend and I would definitely be interested in attending more like this.

I really found this useful and have shared this with my friends!"
